Royal BC Museum – PARC

The Royal BC Museum's PARC Campus in Colwood houses the provincial archives, research labs, and collections storage in a single purpose-built facility.

Mass timber is a key element of the sustainable design: Kalesnikoff CLT and Glulam form the public and research wings, with the timber left exposed wherever the collections allow.

The building targets a net-zero-carbon-ready standard and is designed to protect the province's holdings for the next century.
